Foraging courses & talks

COVID -19 update (Updated July 4th 2020)
With the continued opening up of venues & businesses across England, I am restarting my foraging courses, however the pandemic is not over and for the moment I will be offering courses that are designed to be as safe as possible.
This summer I will be offering, households & friendship groups of up to 5 people the opportunity to book together to come on a 2 hour foraging walk from my base on the edge of the Black Mountains, 20 minutes from Abergavenny, 30 minutes from Hay & Hereford. Walks will cost £150 per group. Should you wish to come with another household, please get in touch for costs and to discuss viability.

These walks will be different to my usual foraging courses, a shorted time without a full meal, but there is a silver lining to change - being part of a small group allows you to have more time devoted to your questions. Right now the benefits of wild food are hugely important & whether you come alone or with your kids, I look forward to taking you on a delicious trip of discovery..
please get in touch on 07805 210477 or email hello@foragefinefoods if you would like to discuss availability.

Please note these walks are also offered to voucher holders, however if the voucher holder prefers to wait until full courses resume they will still have 12 months from the start of these courses (as detailed below)

COVID update March 2020
To enable voucher holders  to attend a future course, all current voucher holders will be offered a 12 month extension to their vouchers, starting the date courses are able to resume. I am currently working to devise safe courses  that will allow courses to operate once as I’ve indicates it is safe to do so; for the foreseeable future courses will be reduced from 12 to 6 participants.
Private courses to singlehouseholds will also be offered first as it is seen as safer to do so. Until then, I hope you stay safe and well.
Of course I'd love you to become a life long addict of my products, but even more than that I'd love you to start eating the incredible flavours that grow around you.
Throughout the year I run foraging days at the completely beautiful and wild Nantybedd Gardens just outside Abergavenny. We forage in the morning, and turn our finds into a wild late lunch (and there will be wild cake and cocktails - every time)
Places cost £75, courses run from 10 until 2pm including lunch.
Alternatively you can hire me privately to come to you (and up to 10 friends) - please get in touch if you would like to find out more about booking me for private foraging sessions
January - March courses are based in Walterstone, near Abergavenny. Winter course days are based mainly inside, in a (very) informal classroom style, I will help you learn about the wild food you
are likely to find over the coming year

Vouchers are sent our electronically or with the option to send in a gift box with a card and one of my products.
