Wild Autumn Supper - Hay on Wye

On 3rd November I'm popping up at the lovely Table in Hay on Wye, an art gallery with a table for 15. This is  perfect place for a small gathering of wild things and I'd love you to join us. 

Part foraging talk,  mainly a delicious autumnal supper, we'll be dining on quinces, and hogweed, nettles and chestnuts, rosehips and hawthorn, sloes and burdock;  I want you to leave full, nourished and inspired to dust down your foraging baskets & that bit more in love with the rather tasty plants that grow all around us. 

To start: Confit Beetroot tart with crab apple aioli, barley, horseradish, cleavers and speedwell (v)

Mains:    Braised pheasant with elderberry and chestnuts 

 Quince and walnut tagine(v) 


Pudding: Sticky Hogweed Pudding & sweet woodruff custard (v)
