Hogweed seeds are a real foragers treasure, and the golden seeds have long been gathered and ground for spicing sweet and savoury dishes alike. We've blended gathered hogweed seeds and dried orange peel with cinnamon, coridander seed, all spice, nutmeg, mace, ginger and cloves to create our sensational wild version of mixed spice. We love to use Hogweed Spice Blend in tagines, fruit cakes, biscuits and apple pies - it's as at home in winter festive baking as it is stirred into batter for Simnel cakes and hot cross buns at Easter.
